Super Small LED's

Okay. This might be old news , but , I felt the need to share it. This might not be useful for the helmet , seeing as the light is visible and "bulb ish" but all the other lights this may be a fun/space saving/useful way to do it.

Basically , it's you're average LED , flattened , and made about 1 centimeter long. They come in a bunch of colors , too.

And..they're about 100 or so yen a piece. About 1 US dollar.

I've actually been wanting to buy some of them , not for costuming , but for my 1/6 scale diorama-ing.

oh yes,

i know about these.

They usually use these in small flashy toys like those blinking buttons you can stick to things and they strobe.

They are ultra bright, and sound like they are pretty cheap.
They would be perfect for your dioramaing (<- spelt right?)

They are called SMD-LEDs (Surface Mounted Device) and you need a very small Solderhead for soldering Cables on or place it on a Chipcard.
