While my ODST hasn't been particularly difficult, it is rather complex, and very time consuming, so I think some clone armor is the perfect next build due to it's simplistic design and it being something I want to make.
Of course there will be artistic liberties taken (and pieces missing) because very rarely do I care about screen accuracy.
I plan on removing the thigh, cod, abdominal and bicep plates, with the rest of the armor layered over a T-shirt and BDU pants for 2 reasons. 1) mobility and 2) it'll look awesome. I'll be keeping the belt, with the pouches mounted towards the front instead of the hips, akin to the "realistic" design. I'll also being doing a modified version of Bacara's helmet. Of course this will all be painted in my signature black and khaki color scheme.
Here's my rough concept
Overall, I see this build going pretty smoothly, even though it's not something I've built before. That said, I'm not sure how I'm going to go about modifying the helmet, let alone getting it printed in the first place, though I have plenty of time to figure it out.
I'd like to have this done by planet Comicon though I'm not holding myself to that, because I don't want to rush this.
Any tips, thoughts or ideas are always welcome and encouraged. Stay tuned.
