The Hobbit Elven Helmet

Glad to see the forums are up and running again. Here's a project I did a couple months ago but never got around to posting.

If any of you have seen the Hobbit, you may remember the host of elves from Mirkwood standing on a cliff overlooking Erebor in the first 10 minutes of the movie. Even though they were completely CGI (except for Thranduil) and only had about 10 seconds of screen-time, I thought their helmets looked insanely cool. Seeing as nobody had made them yet, I thought I might have a try. Here's what I got.

Oh wow, so that's where Magneto got his inspiration from lol, jk. I didn't even notice these helmets when I saw the movie but they are really cool and yours looks awesome! Are you planning on doing any other Hobbit costumes? or costumes in general? That's a really pretty color too geez....
