Now that Bert has made his post. Omega squad is the next thing coming out of the SSG LABS. Super stoaked to do this trio suit with SSGLordBert and SSGLordElmo. We decided to do the concept art from HW instead of running the infinite version. We had a collective agreement on the concept looking better. I'll be running Leon cause a sword is just an oversized knife, Bert's running August cause he's tired of blue, and that leaves elmo with Robert cause he's our heavy gunner. Majority of the suit will be 3d printed with a few items being foam.to help reduce some weight. Will post pics as we get these suits printed off and put together. Look out for them at hcs seattle or torg.

Little update from the ssg studios. Prints are well under way for omega squad. Little paint as well. SSGLordBert is a mastermind and printing this thing off beautifully the combo with the tpu is awesome. Huge shout out to Spidermonkey60 for crafting the shoulder. Had it made of foam to reduce weight. Will post more updates as pieces are completed.. Leon-011 out.

Yall have been asking for it.... so here it is. The latest omega update from the ssg labs. SSGLordBert and SSGLordElmo have been busy on their respective armors, with Bert helping both Elmo and I with the weathering. The squad is moving right along and should be on schedule to get done in time for torg. So far we've got most of the suit and its either fiberglassed (pla) or flex sealed(tpu), with the first couple coats of primer and paint going on. The boots(tpu), R shoulder, and knees(tpu) have been painted and weathered and are ready padding/strapping.

Well it's been a month since my last post. SSGLordBert, SSGLordElmo and I are near completion on our omega suits. Weathering has been applied to 99% of the suit (just haven't got fully updated pics yet). The suits are coming together nicely with a few more things to do before they are ready for Torg.

Nice little energy sword appreciation post. The handle had a spot for a toggle switch but SSGLordBert was able to print me a cube so we could install a pressure switch. This thing turned out beautiful.

Absolutely gorgeous I wish I had one hell even a good file that does not have to be printed in 90 parts lol. Will it light up brightly?

If you click on the pic it should play a video. It's not overly bright. But I think it lights up okay.

That is beyond dope. I'm soon to be getting my first 3d printer and my first aspiration is to make a Omega team style armor set, would love to adorn it with you in person one day :).

Glorious!! And absolutely we will have to figure out a con were both at and we can rock them out together.

Well the visors have arrived. Huge thanks to SSGLordBert who did the visor form, Angus314 who did the visor pull and Branfuhr who did the gold. These things turned out sick and the suits are starting to come together. Torg 2024 ain't ready for Omega.
