Halo Suit in time for Halloween?

Can't believe it's been 2 years since my last post and I am still no further.

Hello I'm Jon and I have been wanting my own suit for some time now and was the reasoning for buying 3D printers etc. I did print the Halo 4/5 Full suit from the resources in here but ended up binning them all in favour of the Halo Infinite suit.

So this post will serv as some accountability for myself to keep the momentum and get it done. I have a dealing for this Halloween as I have agreed to attend a party in the suit so I have no excuses and it needs to be done! I will also be looking forward to attending Liverpool Comicon in November also.

Attached images are of the old chest piece and the helmet that I will be using (it's been printed for some time now but never finished).

So feel free to keep an eye on this space and badger me for updates and chase me along as I go. Also any tips \ tricks along the way will be greatly appreciated.

Until the next update.

Everyone is different, has different ways to stay on task. You do what works for you.
For me, I'm all about planning and lists with deadlines or I fall behind then suddenly its "con crunch".

Google Calender/To-Do is a decent free tool both for making lists and assigned due dates for each item. Having it pop up on your calendar as over due might be helpful. {Hint: Make the calendar your home page so it smacks you in the face every time you open your browser}

Another good tool that's also free and very flexible in is use is Microsoft OneNote. You can make lists, include links and photos, etc. I use it for punch lists {attached below}.

Or something as simple as a clipboard and pen, or whiteboard and marker... For me at least having it there in front of me in black & white does wonders.

Hi everyone,

Tha ks for the positivity and tips. A small update.

Mainly arm bits printed at the moment. Most supports have been removed but need tidying up before smoothing.

I usually use 50/50 uv resin and talc but will be trying something a little less toxic later in the week / weekend.
