Thanks! I’m thinking I’m gonna start off with something basic, since I don’t have a lot of funds or anything right now. I think I want to try to make something based off of the Insurrectionists or Sgt Johnson from Contact Harvest, or maybe combine the two looks together or something.

thats great i will be watching to see how you make this come to life,and take your time some of us have spent 6 months to 2yrs working on our armor so do think you have to get it done in 2 months just think it out and jot down your note it will help in the long run.

Hey David, welcome to the 405th!

Having done leatherwork previously will definitely help when making your undersuit! I'll be interested in seeing how you go about making it and what you might do differently that others. I wouldn't worry about being bad with EVA foam, it's a skill that takes time to get right. It's definitely worth giving a proper try though!

To do with connecting with the community, you'll make friends quickly here as you spend time talking on the forums. I'm sure that you'll fit right in.

For tips and tricks on building armour you could not have picked a better place to come to. We've got tutorials, guides and instructionals galore over in the tutorials tab.
Having already built a custom Mandalorian suit I'd say that you should know most of the basics but some of the more advanced techniques will definitely benefit you!

Interesting favourite food! I'd have to say Watermelon is superior to cantaloupe though, it's just more enjoyable in Summer to me. With an attitude like that I'm sure you'll fit in here like one of them round pegs!
I wouldn't worry about not liking your first build, personally I would say that my first build was terrible but it's an incredibly valuable learning experience!
