Iron man helmet pep model DONE AND UNFOLDED!

Looks pretty good! There are still a few adjustments to be made regarding the overall layout of the helm, but as a whole you're made some pretty clever models.

Check out some of the ironman builds over at www.therpf.com for more inspiration / reference photography / and general ego crushing over how much better they are at prop building than we are. TMP's ironman is phenominal.

I'll be molding my sculpted ironman helm this weekend with the supplies I got from Jgreer. excite! Hopefully it will turn out well enough to give you pep guys some advice on how to work with this form.

True it is a bit simpler than the master chief helm, but with less detail must come more precision. If the symmetry is off, it's going to be a lot easier to tell on a helm that is nearly all smooth curves and flowing lines.

Best of luck!

I've done most of the unfolding but I have to go out and pick up my copy of GTA IV pretty soon, that'll probably distract me for a while so here's what I've done so far:

If someone wants to finish what I've started and do the layout, that'd be awesome but if not I'll get back to it tomorrow :)
BTW you can easily change it to Letter in the paper config section, I just like to do all my unfolds in A4 first and when you're done unfolding you'll need to drop the angle limit thing to about 170°

i guess theres one more thing that i want to build

Belakor
Reconnaissance Specialist

that fitting for him (sorry i just read it)

and its smooth!

oh gee when you said "I cant wait to get home to work on it" i didn't think you meant unfold the model you unfolded was just a preview for people to get a 360 look at the model (that is the one i posted on post 19 i think it was). I tweeked it a little bit since then (just removed some extra vertecies), but that doesn't make much of a difference. Thanks a lot man great work.

If you dont mind i think I'll put the link in the first post too.

I am printing it as i speak......type

Yeah I printed it a few hours ago too. Just some advice when your doing the front or the face part dont even worry about trying to fold the little top crevasse part i thought it would be a little deeper and wider but it isn't. GL :D
