Approaching the finish line Spartans, the green has gone on, turns out toothpaste makes a fantastic chip mask

I’m going to give them all gray black and brown washes too, as well as mud splashes and dust

I use the red one. Do you just sit there for twenty mins? Holding it till it dries?

You're supposed to apply it to both of the pieces you want to join together, wait for both to become tacky/dry and THEN stick them together. If you're connecting pieces while they're wet they wont bond.
