Before I joined the 405th, I started working on a mask. Followed by the MKVI helmet which is up to the resin stage. Got a little mess up, needs a fixing.

But, the mask is coming a long great so far. I just put on the metal mesh last night. Going to rondo the inside of it after I add some fiberglass to the edge of the metal mesh. Made it look really worn out. Like it's been around forever & seen to many battles.

Sadly, at this moment. I don't have pictures. Hopefully mi internet will let me on. I haven't been able to come on for awhile cause of the modem being a pain. As soon as I can, I will post pictures of it in it's current stage. PLEASE!!! Let me know what you think!

This is my first project of doing this type of art! :D I'm also going to put pictures of the error that happen with the helmet. Would like some info from you peeps on how to fix or at least get it to look like a really bad battle happen!!

I was thinking more of a battle worn!. Was going to get the visor, make it how I want it & have someone shoot it!!!

Looking forward to pics.

Here is a suggestion, rather than shoot it, it would be far easier and less dangers to drill or burn with a soldering iron, a hole in it. (shooting might cause the who thing to shatter).

Yea, it may shatter, but it would be fun. Though, I don't have access to do that at this moment. I might change it to more of a sword burn across the visor instead! And my internet it not working still so I'm going to have to take pictures & upload them at work to post on here. Which probably won't be till monday.

"River, honey, he's putting the hair away now."
"Doesn't matter. It'll still be there... waiting."

Looking forward to pics.

I'm at work now, trying to upload the pictures, don't see a icon for that. How would I do that. I know, I should search for how too. But since my internet at home is been a frak & I'm taking some time out to try to upload. I can't search at this moment. If I don't hear back from anyone. I'll try tonight if the internet isn't being mean!!!

Ok, FINALLY!!! PICS!!! The mask has valleys & mountains, to make it look like it's been around for a long time, to many battles. Also has a few cuts on it as if a blade went through it. The helmet is just at the resin stage. And as you can see, the top part has come apart during the resin curing. It had to be from what it was sitting on. Was thinking about it & felt like slapping me silly! Just got to figure out what I am going to do to the helmet, fix it or battle damage!

Ok, after a few failing attempts to put another layer of fiberglass on the inside of the mask to give it a bit smoother surface & cover the edges of the metal mesh. I went ahead & rondo it instead. I do believe I'm going to put some glazing putty inside of it as well to make it a bit smoother. I made some damage affect on the metal mesh. Then I'm going to start painting it & see how well I can make the paint age-ish looking, maybe. I'll put pics up of it when I can. Only chance I get is at work now. Since I won't have internet for a bit due to the main connection is bad & they believe that the wire is in a tube under ground! YAY!!! This BLOWS!!!
