My artefact halo armor !

Hello I am 24 and I will present my project armor.

I still see new armor with gloss paint, varnish, nice effects like reflections BUT imagine just a moment that the spartans disappear!

What archaeologists will find by digging the soil, sand, and dirt?

I think I begin to answer.

Do not be too wicked this is my first realization Pepakura, I just arrange the CQB helmet in my own way.

My idea: Make a ancient armor, armor found in the forest across from Grandma. The story is simple one day under a heavy rain, I was walking in the woods, the woods have known many wars and who are filled with huge shell holes! When I was young I remember I already hidden in these holes. So this mythical days in my life has redesigned these days of childhood spent playing in a forest and then I put way to find these areas full of history in the forest when suddenly I stumbled upon a piece metallic unknown. I removed the leaves, branches, and then began to dig around with my knife litherman. And what was my surprise when I discovered that it was an old helmet! The story told by my grandfather was therefore true, the spartans are vrément covenant existed and these horrible too. What will I learn more? What is the experience of this helmet? what stories has he known? one day maybe we'll find out

My only suggestion is that you might hit a couple areas with Woodland Scenics grass flock.
It's the stuff that miniature gamers (Warhammer,etc) use.

Then again, it really depends on whether this thing was dug out of the ground or if it was found above ground on an ancient battle site.
If it could be the latter, a bit of moss or lichen might look nice.

Yeah i was thinking about it but for the moment i only got green grass flocage. and lichen

I hesitate to gluing the lichen may be that going to effect a "miniature" and it just is not what I want. but I'm planning to order online flocking in autumn shades of red orange which I think can finish the helmet.


By the way I take this opportunity to ask some help pass the helmet on my head but is not blocked. I thought put foam to block my head in the helmet to be more confortable BUT the problem is that with the foam thickness my ******* glasses do not pass.

I wonder if there are no harnesses cranial or something like that.

What did you apply to the helmet to give it that really bumpy surface? (in this picture)

for the visor i use aluminum plate of 0.7mm which is screwed in the mastic

and for the pain it's an aerosol call "stone paint effect" you got some particule, maybe very fine sand particule, directly in the aerosol.

you have to paint with a distance of 50 - 60 cm because it's harder to paint than conventional paints

I got a lot of problem to continue the armor.

The parties are really disproportionate ... the height is good but the width and depth are very bad. it looks like the leg of a tank ... I measure 1m98 for 70 kg I'm not a tank i look like samy of scoobydoo.

I'm not sure i wil Be Able to do all the armor (the cape is coming soon maybe next week ) picture come soon too

Wow this is really fun all these positive comments on my helmet and my project. it makes me more pressure to the neck. and the worst is that I can not even make my leg or my arm band

I have seen many helmets, but this one has a very interesting twist. The texture and colours are amazing and the visor idea was absolutely brilliant, keep up the awesome work man
