After The Game - Sean Bradley Halo Fanfilm

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I really appreciate it from you guys.

I've come to the conclusion at this point that H.B.O. is the only website that is going to feature my movie. It's been out for about 2 weeks and we've only seen about 1,600 hits between both versions of the film.

If you don't know how marketing for these videos works: attention for our community is won at just a handful of websites, each of which has a person who decides what the audience gets to see.. If they do pick up the link, the Halo community will get to see it and it'll get about 16,000 views a day, 10x the audience from two weeks without their blessing. If not... then you're pretty much left to word of mouth and standard Youtube referral.

I honestly just want enough of an audience to see the movie to justify the time, effort and money that was spent on making it. I'm not ever going to get anything back from it.. I just would like for the audience I made it for to see it. It's really a daunting thing to fight an uphill battle knowing that I've been rejected by my peers... it's been a little depressing. One thing I do have on my side is that I'm obsessively persistent and I don't give up until I achieve my goal. I'll keep trying, and I won't back down on this. Response has been overwhelmingly positive.. people really like this movie, but you can't rely on word of mouth alone!

So, here I come to my plea. I've been trading sleeping hours for time to promote online, I really need help sending the movie out to people. If you liked the film, or know someone who would, please send them the link! Because of the way that YouTube tracks videos, the statistics of this film will determine how many more people will get to see it through related videos. If the movie finds it audience and gains momentum, there's more incentive for us to do more projects like this in the future! I want to make more fan movies people!

We would love to reach the largest audience we can. Please show it to your friends, family, or co-workers if you think they would enjoy it too. Send it to your favorite website, or to bungie, post it to your friends on Facebook, show it to your Mom! C'mon people, this is a grass roots fan movie campaign!

Go to this link and cut and paste it in your email, and post here if you want to help!

Awesome movie. One tiny little bit of constructive criticism... Next time, hold your gun right! :pI shoot guns, so when I see bad gun handling, it jumps out at me. :)

Otherwise, very entertaining. :cool

You know someone else said that to me too. I'm curious what you're specifically referring to? Chief didn't fire any guns in the movie.. well. not intentionally. ;)

I had another friend that followed up that comment with "Are you telling me that I'm supposed to believe that Master Chief would clean a loaded weapon and look down the barrel?" :unsure

I was like... it's a comedy dude.. have a sense of humor already!

Some people don't know when to laugh, and some people don't know when to stop.

Yea, I had a laugh when he was cleaning the pistol. :)

I'm just referring to the handling of the rifle. It just wasn't carried the way a battle hardened veteran carries a rifle. That's all.

Like I said, it's only a small thing, just that the small things jump out at me. :)

Ah... you should try handling a rifle in a costume that prevents you from butting the gun into your shoulder properly. ;)

I totally understand now, thanks.

Many thanks to XXLGaming for featuring our movie today: http://www.xxlgaming.com/newspage.asp?which=562

They're showing some interest in a web series from us, at least they'd like to post more videos, sequels if we can make them. I'd gladly shoot some more movies like this if we can summon some more help and support. Anyone in the area that would be interested in volunteering stay tuned!

Don't forget to check out the movie if you haven't seen it and leave us a comment!
