I say stick with the regulation masks and helmets,wearing foam body armor would be fine even it does penetrate since mostly what is worn is thick clothing anyways.

last time i check theses kinds of threads and topics are not aloud, we're about building costumes not making real armor to play airsoft in...this is how people get hurt and sued!
