Armor guidelines/ rules

Being new to this wonderful community and all that it has to offer I have a question as to armor builds, specifically is there any kind of rules and/or guidelines as to mixing armor types from all the games? Like would it be a "Mortal Sin (tm)" to mix leg armor from Halo 3 with a Reach chest piece and helmet because you like the look as a whole?

Any help or information would be appreciated

This would only affect deployment applications as it relates to the tier levels. Tier 3 Levels are prohibited by non canon mixes. Other than that as always have fun with your build! Share it with the community and ask if you have any further questions. This community is very helpful.

Is there a reference to this tier list? Is the tier list a rule of thumb to cannonisity?

Something to keep in mind is that theirs are not a requirement, nor something to get nitpicky about. It is mostly a system to push yourself to be as game acurate as possible and a way to brag about your accomplishments. Custom armors and paintjobs are some of the best things out there, and if that's what you want to do, do it!
