Armor Help Needed

I need help on my armor

i dont know what im sapose to use to make my armor look smooth after i make it and aply aqua resin and the itchy fiber glass mat

and now that im here im going to ask this aswell

is it ok to use regular printing paper or does it HAVE to be cardstock :eek

oh and can some one do me the favor of puting links for the armor i only have helmit ad knees..... :unsure

Well I can answer one question, About the paper. It needs to be 110lb Cardstock or else it wont stand up to the weight of the resin. It will simply collapse I think.



And as for making it smooth, I THINK it comes from using bondo and doing a good sanding job, along with some primer, Paint , and a glossy coat if youd like.

hey buddy im here to help, so for smoothing all u do is apply some bondo on the pointy parts IF they need to be bondoed, some ref imges should tell u that, so apply bondo where need and sand and smooth out. DO NOT USE PRINTER PAPER the resin will warp the paper, and ur project will look like crap, last but not least here r the WETA odst links

Use Bondo to smooth everything out.



Bondo with this and this or this (<- I haven't tried out the rondo thing myself)
