I'm just curious, how did you make the hidden blade?

So...how exactly did you attach the blade to the sliding mechanism, you didn't say in the video, and that's the part I am kind of hung up on myself. It seems like the way you attach the blade is the key to getting it to stay retracted until you pull it out.
