Props Assault Rifle Lights

I made an AR light kit and am looking for some feedback before I start offering them to people.

thatdecade and jlhR2 are proud to present the cheapest and most capable AR Light Kit ever.... No need to worry about resisters or wiring. Just insert into your prop. Four green LEDs and a red LED that blinks when the batteries are low.

I am glad that we got this board on here for the group. In my opinion (and I am biased since I designed the layout and initial idea) that this is wicked, and will add that little bit of extra realism to any rifle. We designed this circuit to attach to thatDecades ammo counter's (past and future releases).



But it will also connect and work with anyone elses ammo circuits. We made a detailed "Instruction/How to" that shows installation of the board.

can you add smaller leds to them instead of the bigger leds? my ars has room for small leds

Yes, I can swap in smaller 3mm LEDs instead of the 5mm LEDs shown.

Looks good. I really like the idea with the red LED. Is it possible to combine this kit with the counter kit, so that both use the same battery and "low-battery"-indicator?

I have two solar cells designed to charge a single 1.5 battery. Can I put two of these on to charge the batteries while I walk around with it?



The solar cells are 2in x 2in.



What do you think?

For solar cells I always recommend re-purposing the circuit in those cheap outdoor solar lights. You can purchase one for less than $5 and it is powerful enough to run a handful of LEDs for a couple of hours.

I have to say the more expensive ones are easier to scrap like the ones you get in a big set. the ones you pic up seperately usally are too compact and have hot glue holding peices in a way that makes scrapping difficult. breaking solar cells was my biggest concern. but they power more clear LED's than the colored capped LED's.
