This is the start of my Hunter build. I know it is not Halo but I did this over two weekends. The hardest part was looking for colors to match it.
First part to this I started on the dome, then face and then the rebreathers. I had used 6mm, 4mm, and 2mm eva foam for it.
I had to modify the template and free hand a few parts to get like the fins up front and the ridge around it.
Once that part was done I had made the eat caps on to both sides and used green 2mm for the ears.
I had sanded the bevels into the filter.
Plastidipped the helmet
Goofed up with base paint colors and sanded it.
I had used charcoal grey as the base coat for it and started with the stencil.
I found a orange that I thought was right.
LOL nope. It wasn't right. Painted over it with black.
Tried another Orange. BUT NOPE.
Went to a local Hobby shop and looked at ALL of their paints. Found the right color. Orange Red.
After I was happy with it, I grabbed Teal and put some of it on very lightly. Added some battle damage like in the show and here is the final result.
