Are there plans to make it flyable, in the distant future? I think it's possible to make it into an unmanned aerial vehicle. I even drew up one of my ideas, although it is for a regular piloted banshee.
Another option would be a metal frame, .120 " thick (or hair thinner) 1" x 1" frame work, it was only about 22 bucks for a 20 foot long stalk when i bought it last. .120 would be strong enough to climb on and take a little banging with out bending, .080 would work as a frame, be lighter, but unless it had more bracing it could possibly bend a little the weight of a full person on it if it was a long singular piece.

you have a good point though, it would work if we had some sort of anti-gravity generators or something because their is no way you can turn, gain lift, let alone take off and land. but it is still possible, maybe in the distant future or when the Gov. desides to tell us they have tech like this.
the slingshot might actually get it off the ground lol. i would rather pilot an a-10 then a banshee, besides how fast would it be able to go anyways???
Drivable by a person not sure how it would work or where a motor could go, I have enough knowledge about electronics to run that part of it it's just the suspension and framing that would be fun figuring out.
Maybe you could carve out the foam to shape, apply some sort of shell(rondo might be hard enough), and then remove the foam and put real supports in place. Maybe put some layers of fiberglass in and then cut some PVC pipes or wood to support it where you feel it needs it.
