omg! this is wat i said
one of my favorite things about his sword is the way his hollow uses it. like when his hollow takes over before he becomes a vizard. i love how he just runs around swinging it around by the cloth (and chain in bankai), and then using zangetsu tenshou. i wish ichigo did that at all, its so badass!

and your frind
My friend was just over today messing with my katana and said he wanted to just twirl it around, wish normal Ichigo would do that more.

:eek we all think alike!!! haha

Oh and if anyone can find some cheaper contacts than this that would be great! http://www.grimmbrothershalloween.com/product_info.php/cPath/102_175/products_id/876

Although that might be the cheapest, dunno.

also i thougth about the moving mouth piece someone said earlier .

you can apply it first with Spirit gum for that extra hold if you wanted ,then attach 2x thick elastic band to hold it firmly when your jaw moves.

I'm already addicted to anime ;) just not this particular show, lol, but it looks like I need to watch it.

It really is a great anime and I'm sure you would like it. Amime can be very addictive, my friend got me to watch Eureka 7 and have watched countless sense. Same with my friends, I tell them one anime and they watch it and get addicted and start more. :D

And sorry guys no updates today, spent the night at a lockin last night and fell asleep when I got home, so it's been a lazy day. I might need to pick up some paint, don't think we have any white...I might just end up painting the red on, using white out on the teeth, and then cover everything with a clear coat. Or should I leave it flat? I kinda want to seal everything in though so not sure what I should do.

It is my perception by the way the mask reflects light that it is very smooth and very glossy. I would recommend sanding it as smooth as a baby's bottom and then using a gel coat clear coat followed by a rigorous buffing. That should do the trick and make the mask hard core!

Yea I guess I'll just see how it looks with both.

Dude!!! Night Star that mask is awsome!!! looks like a pep am I right? looks great!! That was actually gonna be my next project, cept I'd have to cut my bangs to get the hair right =P Would you care to share the PDO?

And guys I'm kinda stuck where I am right now in regards to paint, broke at the moment but I'm pretty satisfied with where it is right now. So as soon as I get the money I'll get some more paint and revive the thread, hopefully it'll be within the week =D. Thanks for the support thus far and I plan on finishing it soon! sorry to keep you on hold.

here's a few small updates, added the black around the eyes and smoothed a bit of the forehead a bit.

The middle lines are annoying me and I need to redo the black but I plan on doing a much better job when it is paint rather than just marker :)

getting even more better

and no it's a scratch build :p

but i have a feeling i might get hooked to doing the annacar group so i'l probs make a pdo soon.

Ah I see, well it looks great so far. I've decided I'm just gonna use my leftover paperclay and a paper model for mine, so far just have the teeth. I might upload pics once its farther along and as another thread.

Anywho I have good news on my paint problem. I started school today =( but my painting teacher says that I can use painting my mask as a project thingy or something or other. Bottom line is I'll be able to paint it as soon as I get my kit! They ran out today while I was in line but hopefully will have them tomorrow. I'm just going to be using acrylic white and red, and maybe sand first to define the nose/eye parts a bit more.

Are you planning on doing anything with the teeth? Or are you just going to leave them alone? Either way, they still look great.

Well here are the final pics of progress and finished product. I first coated the mask in a layer of acrylic white paint, let dry and repeated where needed. After that I taped off all but what I painted red, and as you'll be able to tell from the pictures, didn't table enough and had drips :angry . I managed to fix that later though. I've had alot of fun with this project, thanks so much for the support and sorry for the delay in updates! Anyways here's the pics, enjoy!

By the way I'm not sure what you mean by doing anything with the teeth, other than maybe cleaning off some more of the excess glue, but what did you have in mind?

Thanks! glad you like it. Like I said I've had a lot of fun with this project and hope to be doing more arrancar/vizard masks in the future. Here's one last pic for ya, had my friend p'shop the eyes for me. :pI think she did a pretty good job.

EDIT: have too many pics in the thread so I'm just gonna replace one of the ones above with it.

Haha looks even better when you added the eyes. Though I wish there was a pep version out there so we all would have a base to work with and be a hollow person :D
