He has pics of many guys in the 405th and therpf and i dont feel its right, could you help me contact some guys in the 405th especially the guys you recognize his work? Or could you tell me what should I do cus' I think thats unfair for the guys that put so much effort in his armours and stuff.

WOW WOW WOW...great job guys. I'm gonna start doing this build when I get some time. I'm a big asian (6'1" built like a frickin freight train) and am gonna try to do the Tai Kaliso Variant...sans shotgun I am not quite sure how to build that large shoulder piece he has. Any ideas?

I would try either heating and forming Eva foam, styrene, or sintra/PVC foam.

As a completely brand new member to this wonderful forum I'd like to say that the VERY talented members of this website caught my attention when I decided that I want to put together a very ambitious idea. I've decided that I want to make my own set of armor for the release of Gears of War 3 and then go to a con following that. The problem is that I have no idea where to start but I have an open mind and I'm willing to learn from anyone who can teach me anything. I've lurked on these forums for a while trying to compile the information needed and I've referenced the 405th several times on the Epic Games Forum (where I originated from). Once again--it's a pleasure to join another forum and I'd like to learn anything I can from the experts on here! Cheers!

I wanna wear a set of Anya's new plates to the release of the game so I started making templates by hand

I started with cardboard:

Then untaped it and used foam

Got the dremel out and used it to make the detail lines int the front, got the cardboard templates made for the shoulders and got the baseplate for the back cut out and shaped. Lot and lots that needs to be added to the back and not alot of referance pics out yet :/
