Hello 405th-ers !

Its me again with a another WIP thread. I know ive already started the ODST Medic and the Halo 2 ODST helmet but i stuck in the bondo stage and i...well... i dont wanted to mess them up. So i searched the web for some tutorials about how to work with bondo etc. So i came with the idea to build the combat armor from Fallout 3 - Operation Anchorage. Its a very simple armor to build and its perfect for me to test out a few tricks i learned from the internet.
First the pep stage. After a few days i pepped the torso,back plate,L. and R. Shoulder,cod piece,L. and R. thigh plate,butt plate,L. and R.knee cap,L. and R. shin and finally the L. and R. boot caps :cool

Well i couldn´t find the pep files for the helmet so i bought one for 15€ which is pretty cheap and its brand new :$ and it looks almost like the one in the game. Here´s how it looks like.

Update no.1

Ive finished resining the armor so the next step for me will be to fiberglass them. But first i need to buy some so until then i will try to make the forearms using cardboard.

Always good to see more Fallout builds, and it seems yours is coming along nicely! Do you plan to make any weapons to go along with it?

I honestly like what I am seeing :D Can't wait to see how it turns out ^^
There are way too few Fallout builds in this world. Glad to see someone is changing that. :)

Update no.4

I love your weathering on the armor pieces!

My only critique is that in game the armor seems more gray than white, however yours looks just as cool, if not cooler!

Thanks for the kind words and yep i know it looks a little bit different from the one in the game :p but i wanted to make it look a bit different.

As much as I love Fallout, your armor is looking a lot better. So what, it's not spot on, but look at it this way... It's Fallout, how spot on can things be?

Update no.9

Today ive finished fiberglassing the thighs and the knee caps BTW the left knee cap is a little bit messed up :3
