Hi All!

I was hoping for some insight on Commander Shepard's N7 Armor From Mass Effect 2. I have done Cosplay, however I have been struggling a bit with armor so I am hoping to get somewhat of a crash course in it while my Mando is on the Shelf. Defiantly going to use EVA foam, but I have not the slightest idea as to what I am doing in terms of sizing. I did get my measurements taken, but I am also wondering if anyone has a good program other than Photoshop (Preferably a free-ware version) for printing the templates out as well as modding them to fit my body. Attached in the files is the version that I want to do.

Thanks in advance guys, been getting my rear kicked with this.

Proper scaling is going to depend on what exactly your templates are like right now.

If you have a pepakura file for the templates and the measurements of yourself you're good to go with Armorsmith and adjust the pieces to fit on the model of yourself in the program.

If you have PDF templates that are already laid flat and are just ready to piece together, it's a game of printer scaling. I'm still a fan of making patterns off your own body and drawing the armour pieces on to make sure everything will fit but you could make a hybrid method by tape-mummying yourself, drawing approximate armour plates on the tape and comparing to the templates to make sure they're the right size and shape for your body.

Hey Turbo, I have a Body Cast of myself. I will look for a pic of it....the top is the back piece.

Does anyone have eyes on the Templates he used in this video? This looks like to be how I plan on completing my task. I could use some advice from the pros. Because I guarentee you a Spartan is next.

Hey I am also going to post some screens I took to help anyone in their quest as well. I gotta find the templates that this gent used in the video. I'd be willing to spent a fair amount of coin.
