I second this 100%. Not only is that suit and weapon fantastic but the undersuit completely blew me away, so much detail!

Darkrider9 - thankyou, I found the undersuit quite a labour inspite of it being just a lycra suit with foamies stuck on. I have lost count of the times its neen on and off the tape dummy (and me).
thorn969 - Thankyou. I have a fair bit to do yet, this was the first 'full' test fitting. Padding to be added in places, a few foamies to add in places and strapping to finish.

This looks really cool, active84u! The Master Chief armor with the Noble Six helmet is pretty interesting...I prefer the Noble Six helmet over Master Chief's so this is great.
Your under-suit looks awesome. I'm wondering it you incorporated the inner part of the thigh with the under-suit or with the thigh-piece itself?

the undersuit is wicked!! got some more photos? and its all made of foamies over a lycra suit, is that glue you used silicone based? awesome job on the armor!!!
Page 9, post 86 on this thread has a lnk to the glue used. Its a rubber/solvent based glue. Yes the undersuit is a lycra/spandex body suit with foamies stuck to it.
Not sure is silicone based glue will do the job but superglue (tried a few types) just peels right off.
Thanks, Im already making mental notes on the second build but I have to complete this first. Lots of room for improvements, the next one willl be better.
UPDATE
I'm pretty busy at the moment but have been fiddling with boots etc when I've had chance.
As I'm 5' 8" I thought I would build up some old boots to make me 6' 2" when suited up.
Stuck layers of foam tiles onto the boot sole/heel with hotglue. The connecting strip helps keep the sole in touch with he heel. How on earth do girls do platforms?
Pepped a boot and it will have to be extended down the boot to cover the platform.
I have a few days away soon but then a week to finish off. Have a September con to attend in armour

Happy to report no problems at all. The foamies were stuck on while the suit was on my duct tape dummy so it was stretched the correct amount. If you were to add foamies off the dummy, the bond between the suit and foamies would give out, or you wouldnt fit in it anymore.
