Crafting my first armor

Hello there
Im trying to build my first suit using E.V.A foam and not 3dprinting it so i was wondering if anyone had any good ideas/tips on what my tools/materials i all should use ? I do have some pics of what i want it to look like tho if i manage to post then

Cadet pretty much covered it. And I will say don't get discouraged along the way, foam has a learning curve but it's not too difficult, take your time, don't rush things, and ask questions if your stumped

For 3d printing I've had great luck with PLA+. Idk if there is actually much of a difference vs regular PLA, but it has worked for me.
