So I did use buckles but I couldn't reach it, so went with good ol' magnets and like a 1 in. bar of steel. And of course I didnt take any pics, was a spur of the moment type thing. I'll take some pics when I get off today.
And here is how my chest will come off and on, decided to keep the "top" solid and the sides come apart via magnets and 1 in. steel plates, the seem will be covered with some faux pouches.
So works out so far, also used 1 minute epoxy on the magnets and steel.
Got the hip plates done and the straps have been cut and attached to the length they need to be, took apart the ab plate and I will use elastic straps on the back side of the ab plate for more flexibility
Also some progress pics, it has the hip plates attached to the buckles and straps and its attached to the top ab plate, took apart the ab plate, got some ideas for flexibility.
Thinking elastic straps to connect the ab plate pieces instead of glueing them together.
