DmC Dante help.

So my girlfriend and I are going ad Dante and Lady from Devil MAy Cry for a con.

For those that don't know, Dante wields a very large sword and dual pistols titled Ebony and Ivory.


The problem is, I can't seem to find ANYTHING close to this sword.

I KNOW that you can buy metal replicas, but considering the money being spent on everything else, does anyone know where to find a PLASTIC/WOODEN sword of very large size that looks at least similar to this?

And does anyone know where I can get 2 large, unfunctioning, nothing special pistol replicas for really cheap that look like these?

well for Rebellion you could always try to make it yourself if you have the time and materials, and as for Ebony and Ivory... your outta luck on that one dude

Like I said, I don't need exact replicas, just something that looks similar.

Well there is a person on Cosplay.com that makes the Ebony and Ivory pistols, Hugginsseller I think is the name http://www.cosplay.com/member/175867 , I got a couple of God Of War Blades from them a while back looked just like they were from the game, the person also makes pistols and they started to sell those or Alucard pistols which look alike before I left the site. I think they were selling them for $50 each but I'm not 100% sure. As for the sword I build LARP weapons and use to work for a Ren Faire in Arizona making wooden swords, I don't have the equipment to make the wooden ones anymore but I can make that out of foam board if I know the right dimensions it looks like it would be fairly easy for me to make it question is how long until your con starts?

Also, for the guns you might try some airsoft websites. You might be able to find some pistols that are cheap replicas or look similar to Ebony and Ivory, and still be pretty cheap

Yeah i was gonna say use the airsoft guns too. maybe just get two desert eagles and repaint them and cut some stuff out. as for the sword i cant help with that one.

That was my first thought. They appear to be heavily modified Colt 1911's.

@Nintendude: The con is in Late Februrary. And it appears that the memeber you linked isn't doing commissions anymore. aww...

Well I can make the sword out of foam for you if you want out of my funds if you like it you can pay if not you don't have to. The person has been saying they have'nt been doing commissions for a while but they still make the props. Just tell them CDF_Vagabond sent you, that's my name on there.
