Another update, and this one has some good news and some really bad news.
The good news: everything but the knees, cod, and boots are resin'd now. I also finished the helmet, which fits a tiny big but much better than the other two.
The bad news:
The Sledge fell over as I was priming it. I didn't want to add more bondo, lest the weight overtake me as I carry it around. Unfortunately, the sledge hit right where it hurts: on the hammer head. I'll admit, it was a satisfying sportch, until I realized it was the hammer that made the sound and not whatever it smashed.
I'm really not happy right now. I'm less than four weeks from NDK, I've got no money to build a sturdier one out of foam (unless I get a few orders on my website, which will take more of my time), and I don't even know if I can fix this damage without having to overhaul both hammer heads. I'm at a loss. I don't know if I can pump out an AER9 or something else in time either.
