First build - Mirage Core

Finally done tinting. The one in the helmet is the new one i tinted this morning and the one on the right was the old one. I was aiming for a more bronze look and less gold and i think im pretty satisfied with the results.

Great work, brother, it's looking great!
Strong point of reference, especially since your visor isn't too close to your face - Go very light with the chroming, and test it as you go the best you can. You'll have to leave it in it's dry state after spraying (no coating, unfortunately, at least as far as I've seen and tried, it makes the chrome non-transparent). The less you put on, the more you'll be able to see. Get to the point where you can see through it in a dark room, but can't see your own face in the mirror, then leave it - it will give you the best results. You can always touch it up if you accidentally touch it later.

Would it work to do a clear coat on the top of the head since i dont need visibility there?

Probably, and since it's such a large visor, you might need to for mounting helmet pads, etc. I'd just go only as far as you have to - Anytime you wear it for an extended period, the more visibility you can squeeze out, the better. Let me know if you need help, I can help steer you away from the mistakes I made.

Brought the visor over to Mnkr’s who was nice enough to help me chrome it.

Pretty satisfied with the results.
