I baught thisw in a heart beat, the project triforce is not even that accurate, project triforce's is cartoony, and frumpy looking to me, i really think that for 130 it is a must buy for any gears fan. i can twait, btw it is not like im trying to bad mouth project triforce, but im just saying that you'd have to be nuts to buy it for 900 dollars. just saying.

That thing is kinda cool with the sounds and all. But why are they still making them so inaccurately? That new one looks like it's compressed in the picture, but if you look closely that's how it really is. -Weird.

It's also the GOW 1 version of the Lancer and not the GOW 2 version. The GOW 2 version has a different barrel assembly up front.

As for the Triforce sales one; that thing is horrible. I cannot believe the shoddy work from Nightmare. They first one they made was pretty bad and inaccurate too, but this one is horrendous. And $950? Are they nuts? The red on the front looks like someone took that thing to a jelly donut!

I'm currently working on the prop version of my Lancer. It proving to be a little tougher than I though it would be. I'll get it done though.

RSloan is right why does nighmare try to pass off that junk for a lancer, it is not even accurate. i can't beleive epic gave nightmare the right to sell thos things. they should have called RSloan for the job. but i like the amazon one, cause it is inexpensive.

I have never played GoW, nor do I have any desire to do so, so I cant compare these props to their in-game counterparts, but I can tell you this, both of those are damn sexy.

The Amazon version seems like something that will be at Out on a Whim within the next year or so for about $40. It looks like a gun. There is no special, artistic quality about it.

The Nightmare version, however, has more of a stylized look, kinda like the game itself. Yes, the blood does look like strawberry jelly, but it adds to the artsy.

I think you would get more bang for your buck if you were to buy the Amazon version.

Wow, wonder how Nightmare/Triforce feel about this.. They just got undercut in the Lancer dept...

I'm sure the actual prop Lancers are better quality, but you can't argue with cheap... cheap always wins.

Count me in I ordered mine yesterday. Dont think the chainsaw blade actually moves though. I think the whole thing just makes the noise and vibrates. Glad to see some affordable props(toys) coming out instead of overpriced hunks of resin though.
