oh dang! one of my files out in the wild! major props to you man (no pun intended) the Hydra was the biggest pain in the butt to wrangle and repair enough to where my slicers would accept it! always love seeing other people using my files to make awesome props. are you planning on doing photoshoot or anything like that with the finished Hydra?

Hey! Thanks for the great file. I most certainly plan on it. I got some great shots of it with my Hydra during Dragon Con. :) More to come.

Uh oh....she's back.
Starting work on Hydra MK II today.

So the first thing I wanna work with the Hydra MK II is different slicing. Hoping to create an Upper receiver, lower receiver, etc of the weapon. Doing so will allow me to easily attach electronics and easily swap out parts if needed. Additionally, it'll make it easier to mold the weapon. Could get challenging here slicing it up. But Here is the trigger group of the weapon.

First one came out awesome. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out. Hail hydra haha

So got it all cut up the way I want. Going to hollow out a bit of the body above the trigger group for batteries, wiring, and lights. May end up cutting the display section off in order to make it easier to add a screen and the like. Also, NetFabb is amazing.

Before work really gets cracking on Mark II I had to do some repairs on MKI. Shes been through a lot and its the least I could do. Unfortunately, she experienced a drop...or two...that resulted in a pretty bummed up pistol grip.

So after a little TLC

Shiny and new. It's not perfect but hey she will look good while we get ready to push work on a nicer..much lighter...version.

Okay I have no idea how in the world I missed this, but this was an absolutely amazing build! Great work!
