I’m currently working on an ODST build myself and I have to know where you got the scanner attachment from?! Also is it static or can it be lowered over the visor?

I bought it off etsy from ODST Sniper Helmet 3D Model for Cosplay Armour Inspired by - Etsy.
Currently the scanner isn't attached thinking of using magnets to hold it on.

First post after finally finishing our armor. I'm the ODST using a SeanBradleyStudio kit. I didn't have time to 3D print a pistol yet so I just grabbed a random plasma pistol but the knife is a 3D print from MISERABLEARMORY. My son is wearing an Ultra Prestige Master Chief costume that I repainted along with a BranfuhrStudios MK V Helmet. His pistol is a repaint of the BoomCo gun. Overall, very happy with the effort and I look forward to adding some LEDs and accessories for next con season

Who said Nerf modding is dead in the age of 3D printers and advanced foam techniques?!

Just finished a SRS99 inspired Nerf Pharaoh mod! Found a Pharaoh in a thrift store for a whopping 3 bucks and got to work. Still had to use some 3D printing magic, but I tried to keep it to a minimum in spirit of ye olde days of Halo costuming, when Nerf modding was a lot more common.

It absolutely still fires, but not probably well, because of the long barrel and I didn't do any internal upgrading. Really can't bring it to a con either, but I think it still turned out pretty excellent and unique.

Good news, Ya'll! I finished my Sniper rifle!!! This thing is MASSIVE. it's full-scale at 65" long and weights about 20lbs.

The Magazine is removable, charging handle works, and the bipods are deployable. I also made it break down into a few smaller components for easy(er) transport.

An absolutely Superb day, so many pictures taken, met a few Spartans along the way, told em to jump into the 405th... 30kg full armour, 7hours it took me 2 days to recover... wouldn't change a thing.

Took my newly finished Halo 3 Master Chief to a regional cosplay competition and took home "Best in show!" The judges had a lot of fun playing with the spartan laser

Figured I'd post here for the first time in a loooooong time to show that I'd finally finished a suit... was about a 3 week scramble to get it printed and painted in a hotel room after work in time for the con. (AnimeNYC 2022) Went with Aguilar's ODST files, with no scaling and a total "print and pray" approach since I looked to be a similar built to him, but it worked pretty well!

Ending my 2022 year with a happy note and now fan favorite Spartan suit: Festival Spartan Tatoruku. I have improved in my crafting of foam and is gonna keep at it coming next year ^_^

Hey Ya'll! I finished a bunch of stuff recently, so bear with the long post and picture dump!

First off, I finished a Mk.V(B) Scout Helmet for my wife's armor. Files by AguilarWorkshop.

Next, I finished an awesome BR75 Battle Rifle model by Oddworks. I made a bunch of mods to it, most noticeable being the LED ammo counter!

And lastly... I am finally ready to release my ZO'KLADA-pattern Plasma Pistol from Halo 5 Guardians! The files for this bad boy will be posted over on the free models thread shortly.
