scorpion-exo

also, i found this visor, but its WWWWAAAAAYYYYYY too expensive for my taste and my paycheck says no so anyone out there no of a good bronzish visor that runs cheaper than this?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Scorpion-EX...parel_Merchandise&hash=item1c2590c515&vxp=mtr

ive gotta say anything from the scorpion market will run a high dollar value, my 2nd motorcycle helmet was over 450, but it was all black so i threw on some white and my custom "sidewinder graffiti" in chrome pen then slapped a UNSC emblem on the side since my bike WAS a UNSC covered bike, its still in the shop when i can get pics of it ill post them up

but those visors will always be a good penny
i would suggest just to keep looking, it took me over 3 hours just to find some decent blue chrome tint that didnt come in 40ft rolls for over a 100

just keep the effort in there man and keep those spartan sparks rollin

UPDATES AND **** UPS! Waahhoooo!!!

SO been working on this all day today because I'm off work today. Anyway. I wanted the Helmet to be a little more detailed than it was so i started adding some cuts into it for more detail.

All Cut Out

I used Foam to Fill the backs of the holes that I cut and removed the visor. Still not sure how i feel about the foam though.

Then after sanding some more i decided to paint it again to see if i needed additional sanding. For some stupid reason, I didnt want to paint it white again and went with a grey. Then it started pealing..... sigh....

Any suggestions on how i can fix this? I stripped most of the paint that pealed but would u suggest that i continue with the grey pain or use the white paint again?

:p Hate myself right now.

Stay Frosty

I would suggest white. It'll give it a really nice CLEAN look. And if you wanna battle damage it, it'll still come out great. Anyway, keep us posted!

If you hand down with a fine grit and use a self etching primer before you start your paintjob it might keep it from peeling out like that, make sure its completely cleaned off and what type of paints are you using anyway..??

Rust-oleum Spray Paints. I figured it wouldnt happen if i used the same brand but **** it did....

I think im gunna put this build on hold for now and finish making the armor i originally wanted to. If I have time between finishing that and halo 4 release ill continue it.
