Sorry for not updating fast, but here's the chest hardened an some details.
Chest pep.
Back detail.
Front of hardened chest.
Back Hardened, Also note the the front and back are now sepperated. And the back has the two jet-pack thruster things that are hardened and waiting to be attached. The detail and chest pieces will be worked on sepperate and the joined later. I have started bondoing as of today, but I dont have pictures. So i'll update soon. Thanks!

UPDATE.
It's been a long time since I've updated. I had to re-do my chest because of sizing so that was mainly the issue. I also Have my helmet, and gloves in progress. Pretty excited on how this is turning out. Here's some pictures over the past weeks:
Helmet:

Helmet painted/ chest parts reinforced before hardening. I didn't want warping, which is another reason the old chest was re-done.
Chest fiber glassed/ rondoed.
Back detail on chest, still needs hardened. Also don't know if these are jet packs or just recon's cool factor.
Hand detail. This is what I'm really excited about. I casted super thick latex and got this. I will then paint over it, but as of right now, it gives the gloves that super "real" factor. No strapping, no lines, just some good o'l armor.
AAAANDDD there you guys go. Not much, but I'm getting there. My summer JUST started and I'm going to be kicking butt on this. THANKS!

Thanks Hawk. Anyway so it's been awhile again, but here's an update!
My arms are nearing completion, all they need is some paint and the LEDS sitting next to me. Then i move on the my chest.. ugg.. but well, I have until sept 7th for Cinci Comicon!
Also say Hello to JEB JEB. He's my maniquin.
PS. If I didn't say it before I'm doing the mainstream armor of Recon/ Contoured

Well, have not posted in a long time again. Here's an update: all armor has been " created". The arms, knees, helmet, boots are complete and attached. All that is left is smoothing the legs and chest and some paint.

So update, legs are done. Also butt plate is on. And by on i mean removable. The idea of sitting on it made me cringe ( because im 220 lbs and bondo cracks under that weight.) So magnets where in order. Yes, magnets, not the kind that go on your fridge, the kind that dont release unless you use all your streangth to get them off. So heres some pics. Almost there guys, hope you like.
Ps, yes the paint job is probably wrong, i had no referance pictures and i just made it my own. Im trying to keep this super accurate though.

Last update before this project is complete. Just spent 14 hours finishing up the chest. Still needs paint, and the wings. Sculpted some cool details on it. Pretty proud of how much i did. Ready to be done, its been a long journey.[emoji28]

I will be at the Cinci comic expo!! Hoping to have my MC suit finished by the. But if not I will just fall back on old faithful iron man. Lol either way it will be a goood time, I will look for you man!!!!

Hahahaha I'm going to try my best man! I'm on vacation right now, be back at it tomorrow full steam. All I need to do is finish up the bodyfiller on the chest/back both thighs, and the shin..... And build one bicep and both forearms and boots.. haha hardly nothing right?
