well, here it is in all of its glory. Got some minor adjustments to make before Dragon but this should suffice. Alas I never got to finish painting the Hydra (just ran out of time). So that will wait till I get back.
Well, Recluse got her first full con in this past weekend during Dragon Con. And man was it awesome. The armor was a big hit, worked great. Had a small strap issue and some armor bites. So just a few modifications and it will be good to go. Here is a pic taken by the glorious Workman Reflections (Security Check Required).
I am not familiar with 3D and got a game file, but I do not have enough knowledge and skill to know what kind of adjustment is necessary.
I thought that i could figure out what kind of work would be needed if you could get the files you adjusted ...
Hey there everyone! How about a revival of this project. After searching for roughly a year for the power cell file for the Recluse armor. Our friend Chernobyl Weyland was able to help us out and hook us up with the file.
Here it is in the raw form.
First we sent it through the blender smoothing algorithm.
Then off to the registration we perfected with our BR55 builds to ease assembly.
A day later here it is hot off the printer.
And in place between the boosters.
As you can see this piece has been the missing "key" to our Recluse armor. Without it we have had to resort to a strap going across the back to hold the boosters in place. Now with this we can hold the armor in place much more easily and complete the Spartan look. Can't wait to get this properly installed!
Alrighty. Got the power plant finally completed and installed. What a difference in the stability and look of the armor. And I had to get a shot with the Answer cause reasons.
Well...since Outpost Discovery is coming. Why not redo the whole suite? What could possibly go wrong...
Taking all the stuff I've learned the past 2 years and putting it into this one. First thing first...the gauntlet. Updated the file significantly, gone is the polygonal look.
