After the passing of 5 hours searching and sifting through the internets, and skimming through the 107 frekin pages of the Halo Reach thread, i cannot find a helmet that's of the quality i'm looking for. although painfully, i found a picture of a pepakura helmet someone made, and it's EXACTLY what i want, but there isn't any way for me to find the file he/she used :'( anyone that could help me would be greatly appreciated.

Some Concept art, in case it helps

ok just curious, and this might help some of us help you, but what exactly do you mean by to short?? like what exactly are you looking for?? the pepped helmet picture is looks like the 3D modeled picture in my opinion. Im just curious so as to see if maybe myself or someone else could possibly help you. Also same question with the fatness of the helmet. The pepped picture is only the side view, so how do you know that it wasnt a fat helmet?? or do you have another picture of the pep with a different view??
I hope im not sounding mean or anything, i just want more details so i or someone else might be able to help you better :)

Try looking in the "File Archive". There is literally like 5 helmet files of the Mark V(B). This is probably the one you are looking for. It looks hard enough :p

You can tell if something is "fatter" or wider by using the tool in pepakura called, "Measure Distance Between Two Points". It's a sub menu of "Edit Mode".

Hey , if you or anyone is still looking for this helmet I already made it and have casts available :) I am an Artist with Stony props as well. Here is a picture of my finished helmets complete with lights and fans.

Cool, that one looks slightly more detailed then the one I originally build (and then ruined resining it but alas).. I might try my hand at this one once I'm ready to retry...
