turtle test.obj

Im havinng trouble with this ninja turtle model, I only want the head and I'm having trouble removing the neck and arms, maybe someone here knows how to do this?

If posting this in the Pepakura Help!-thread means that you're trying to use Pepakura Designer to cut parts of the model off: That's not going to work. The only thing you could do with Pepakura Designer is unfold it and then print only the parts you need.

i need a better link to to papercraft or pepakura for the blueprints from the indy mogul video please email me at kropacek29@msn.com

Nope, not going to email you. If creating a link to this post and checking back here in a day or two is too much work for you, you shouldn't even start this hobby.

Just read everything on the forum you can find, especially when it says "Sticky" at the beginning, and you'll know what to do eventually. This is a good place to start: http://www.405th.com/showthread.php/30542-NOOB-reading-list

When you modify the measurement of either the height, width, or depth, the other two will scale accordingly so that the proportions of the model are maintained.

You are not able to stretch the model in only one direction using Pepakura Designer's scale function. If this is needed the model really needs to be modified outside of Pepakura Designer (there are some rudimentary modeling tools that can be used within Pepakura Designer but I would suggest against using them).

It does that to keep proportions, changing just one would put the other two measurements off so it changes them all accordingly

Which measurement to change depends on what you're making, helmet, chest armor etc? Have a look at this guide made by HaloGoddess http://www.405th.com/showthread.php...cale-quot-and-More-Tutorial?highlight=scaling The second post shows diagrams to show what each measurement refers to and underneath the pictures she has a list for which measurement to adjust for what piece of armor you're making (helmet you would adjust the height measurement etc)

so im building an iron man helmet but its frustrating because all the numbers on the pep are mashed together, any way to move the numbers off of each other? or some other suggestions? thanks

You can change the font size in the program's options. However, in my opinion, it's easier to just disable or ignore them and leave the problem open to look up parts with the Check Corresponding Face function.
