I have built scenery and props for theatre and corporate productions over half my life. I am a carpenter, certified welder, passable electrician, and an ETCP certified rigger for theatre and arena work. I have some experience with glassing and resin work; and a daily familiarity with Bondo and other body fillers. I have an extensive knowledge of tools and hardware. The theatre arts are filled with special hardware and techniques that I think can be an asset to this community. The shop that I used to work for also had some special Bondo tricks that might be helpful. I haven't gotten into materials stickeys yet but will soon.
I don't have any experience with molding and casting but after Adam Savage's last article in Make:Magazine I would love to do weapon repros this way after carving solid positives.
My intentions are to build a Noble Six suit with additions and paint to match my multiplayer character. I would LOVE to get to build a Hayabusa suit. Pepakura seems to be an awesome tool for doing this work and that is how I will build initially. However I have some pending home projects first so posting helpful comments and dreaming of my build will be it for the moment.
