I've spent the last several hours just reading through all the cool info here. I'm looking forward to learning and sharing. My current project is Noble 6, starting with a helmet. I'll be sure and take lots of pics and write it up well so others can follow my train of thought on sheet metal forming. I'm also doing a functioning version of the MA-40 AR for the upcoming Infinite....or a best guess at how it's going to look based on the trailers. Semi-auto, fully legal version in 6.5 Grendel. I won't put much of that up here since it's not consistent with the site guidelines, though. If it ever quits raining here in Houston, I hope to really make some progress on the aluminum Noble 6 armor in the next few weeks.

Favorite Hobby: to many to list, but 3d printers, making Nerf guns with my son, costume making, nerd stuff, etc...
Favorite part of halo: The story line is great, and you can really connect with Master Chief as a hero and doing his best to do the right thing at all cost.
Favorite Halo: Its hard, they are all great.

Other Interests: I'm now into 3d printing, so trying to master that and be able to make my own stuff. My 12yr old son is also into Nerf, so that means I am too, only difference is I have $$$ and can buy better stuff and mod it heavily - yeah, I punish those kids when we all play, but I'm not as fast or nimble as I once was so I need every advantage I can get. Lol

I haven't been very active on here but I might as well make a short introduction post
Name: David (Some people call me Davey)
Profession: Full time student (I'd like to join the NZ Airforce one day though)
Hobbies: Playing video games, drawing, prop making
Favourite video games: Pretty much any Halo game (although Halo 2, 3, and Reach are my favourites), Slime Rancher, Minecraft, and Destiny 2, to name a few
Other: I'm not the best at keeping a conversation going but I try my best :')
I'm also a complete newbie to prop making, and I'm working on my first set of foam armour at the moment (Mjolnir Mk VI). I started earlier in the year and then took a break for a few months.. whoops. I started working on it again just recently though, so hopefully I'll get it done before the end of October.

Awesome thanks, I do need help getting a printable ODST combat armor template that I can print and build, I don't have access to the styrofoam stuff everyone uses nor afford to buy premade stuff, the files I can find are in pdo file and I have no way to use it to print and build. Another thing is a UNSC Admiral uniform as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I learned about Halo around 3 years ago, my first console was a Wii U, but in 2016 my dad got me an Xbox 1s for Christmas. One day I was looking for games and found a copy of Halo 4 for $2 at a local game store and as a kid with little cash and knowing a little about this game decided to buy it, along with a copy of halo 3 for real cheap. I started 3 but got bored because it was too hard for the brain to understand the amazing controls so I played Halo 4 instead and fell in love with it and thought it was the best game ever (but not for long)! I wanted more of this so played Halo 3 and saw how amazing it was, then I started CE with a friend but he didn't make it fun so I jumped to Reach and that was amazing as well. Soon I wanted to play 2 and bought MCC but didn't finish it. I messed around with those games for a few years until I finally got an Og Xbox and completed Halo 2 and it was the best Halo experience I have had, soon I also beet ODST and finally finished CE with a different friend. I have tried time and time again but it seems hopeless to be 5 so I skipped it. I started playing a lot of the multiplayer on MCC and love it so much and recently started 5s online and it is really fun.
Halo means a lot to me, when down or bored I can play some Halo and always have fun with it. I love the story, fighting, controls, characters, and well every game has something for all of us.
I joined because well I love Halo and I want to make my own ODST armor, I know little to nothing about doing this except I want to use foam and no helmet to start. I want to make a basic set and then add some custom things to make it my own armor. I am looking for help on where to start and what to do and how to do it. Any advice is good advice for where I am.
