Hello Folks, my name is Larry I am a Halo enthusiast and gamer. I decided to make a Halo costume this year for kicks and giggles. Last year I made a Jack (Jack in the Box restaurants Jack) costume and it was a big hit. This year I thought I would try something much harder and way fun. I have a solid rep for being able to build and fix anything so here goes. I started Tuesday and today I should be done with the assembly of the Mark VI Helmet. It looks pretty neat. I made the Helmet from cardboard instead of just card stock paper; I guess it was more to see if I could. It was a royal pain and I do not think I will do it that way again. Now that the helmet is assembled I will Paper Mache it, then coat it in resin, then Bondo it. Once I get to the Paper Mache point I will start the pep of another part so that I have something going on in each stage. Hopefully I will have this done by Halo-Ween. Thanks for being here, so far I am enjoying the forum and all it has to offer.
