After much lurking, both while registered, and un-registered, I figure it's time to say hello.
Name: For now, you can call me Clyde
Profession: Student (Hoping to improve this soon, but the economy... it plots against me...)
Age: 20
Favorite Hobby: Writing (A bit more laid back then costuming)
Favorite Part of Halo: The lore
Favorite Video Game: Riven, the sequel to Myst (I know, blasphemy on a Halo site, but I have a soft spot as the Myst series was my FIRST fandom at 8 years old)
Other Interests: Costuming, drawing, painting, podcasting
Favorite Food: Chocolate.
Dark chocolate... mmmmmmm...
Favorite Music: Oh gawd, that's not easy... I've gone from Nine Inch Nails to Ruth Etting in the same day before... almost everything.
Favorite Movie(s): The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, (Does the Sarah Connor Chronicles Count? It's TV and not a movie, but was LOADS better then T3 and T: Salvation), The Fifth Element, Serenity, The Abyss, The Fall... it goes on and on...
Other: The last time I did hardcore costuming was when I was 14. So much hand embroidery. Since then I've been stuck doing "Out of the Closet" costuming due to lack of money. Hopefully I'll be fixing that soon. I decided to join the 405th cause you guys are a lot more open then some other costuming sites I've found, and not only do I want to make Mjolnir armour for myself, my sister wants me to make a set for her.

You know, when I saw that list, I couldn't stop giggling cause one of my early childhood memories was of my sister finishing her Leeloo Dallas outfit at the last second before taking me out for candy. Instead of saying trick-or-treat when the door opened, she'd hold out the prop ID she'd made based on the movie and go, "MULTI-PASS!" Many confused people, but so worth it for the handful that got the joke. I think that's when I decided I wanted to make costumes too...
(Sorry, tangent O_O ...)
