Reason For Being Here: I kinda lucked on to the site very recently during a Google search and since I like this kind of thing and the skills practiced here are similiar to what I've been working on for other projects it just seemed the thing to join and learn more about.



Funny story and a bit of background is that back about 2002, I was CEO of a game development company seeking a contract with Microsoft. Through some bad choices on my part and others including our middleware supplier seeking a buyout more than support, my company was outbid by a smaller company called Bungie. No problem with that just business. A design of mine at that time came to the attention of a sci-fi author who proceeded to plagairize it and put it in his books. That chaps my behind a bit.



Ever since I've been working to get that design off the ground. Thus here I find many of the skills and tutorials to make much of what I've been trying easier. I hope I can help as much as it seems I will be helped.



As a side note, Dragon*Con takes place 20 minutes from my home every year and I have attended in the past.

I have a degree in theatre performance and I am in the proses of finishing up my theatre technician degree as well. I have recently obtained my Real Estate license and am working on learning and growing that business, I am also a section leader in a local choir. I have been looking to find a Mark VI costume for some time and when I ran into the 405th I thought that it would be more rewarding as well as a better project then trying to peace together some of the stuff out there. I look forward to becoming a part of this community and getting to know you all better.
