My name is Don. I saw an Indymogul film on youtube about armor making and they gave the 405th website a plug. I came here looking for Colonial Marine armor from the movie Aliens....and found so much more. Awesome site, helpful members. Found exactly what I needed, plus some cool extras. You have alot of talented people here. I am currently in El Salvador for work with tons of time to kill. I am hoping to use your technics to build the armor and ship it home. My children have become interested in cosplaying and gave me the bug.... I have been a PC gamer for many many years. I love Sci-fi, action and war movies/series. I'm Chris. I am a twenty-six year old paintball enthusiast from Southeastern Kentucky. I say enthusiast because the crew I play with and I are into all forms of paint. From woodsball, recball, scenarioball, to the speedball field we each own a share in; we're enthusiasts to the core. Some of us are amateur film-makers and we're working on a series of short zombie-inspired film "mocumentaries" which we'll be posting freely on the web as we do them.



Why did I come to the 405th? The answer to that is simple. I love puzzles and I love paper-crafts. I'm not that hyped about building "halo armorlawl" for myself as much as I'm interested in making the armor system for others to wear while we play or for short films. To me the draw of 405th is that there are a lot of amateur filmmakers on this board. So who cares if we get a little dorky so long as it's all in good fun, eh?

Hey folks!

My name is Ray.. I'm 22 years old.. Hmm what else...



I grew up in Gig Harbor, Washington. moved to Tacoma when i was 17 and stayed there for a couple years and now I'm here in Seattle. And I hate it.. Too busy, too many lights and loud noises.

Aside from all that i'm a prop builder. started years ago, I consider myself somewhat of a StarWars expert. I've spent many hours building armor and helmets, and about a month ago I came across this site. Downloaded a PEP file and ive been on my way to building my very own Halo gear since.

I love forums like this. theres a lot of information you can get from other members to make your props go easier, and i'm sure I have a lot of tips I can share too! i'll be sure to post some pictures of my projects.
