Started a build the other week wanted to drop a line and introduce myself.

Working on a noble 6 build at the moment for Next year Halloween. So I got some time to build and will post some pics later. Looking forward to feed back and any tip sharing. Hope I might be able to help some people if I can. :cool

Got a Picture of my Helm so far. Any suggestions on the hardening process. I wanted to look into some alternatives to Resin /Aqua Resin possibly a normal clear coat lacquer. Not sure if anyone has tried that before. I was going to get clear coat after the painting process any way. Not that I have any issue with using the resin since it’s something I am getting as well just checking into all the options I can.

Hello Joe, if this is your first piece I imagine you'll become one hell of a pep crafter , as for hardening your pep I am in the process of hardening my first piece as well ( Grey Fox Helmet ) I did one coat so far gonna post pictures once it hardens a bit, might possibly do another coat since I think I did a sloppy job on the first one.

I believe resining is the best option there is, just make sure you go about it with patience resin a few parts > let it cure and take a break > resin another part, some people might say it hardens in 10-15 minutes while you coat it but for me once 7-8 minutes have past it begins to harden and I wont be able to use it.

I was going to do most of the Prep before going through the Hardening process just to save money and work on a few pieces in a day when I do that. Ill take some more pics as time progresses I just got one of the shin pieces done but forgot to take a pic.

I am doing a build for next year Halloween also. Taking my time, but I am trying to finish pepping in three months. Your helmet looks great also! Good luck!

You can keep your thread by editing the first post. Click the "Go Advanced" and update the title.

Your pep work looks very good. Just a minor suggestion: edit the title of your thread to include your screen-name so we know who's it is, otherwise your thread will get lost with all the other threads with generic "My _____ build" titles. Good luck with the rest of the build.

Done Thanks My current concern with the build Atm is the forearms I had seen few prep files to use and decided to go with the one in the image not sure how accurate it is for Noble 6 though any suggestions
