After watching several vids on Youtube, I was quite astonished on some of the armor that was made so i decided to make my own. The Mark V happens to be my favorite, plus it's rather simplistic. Here's what I have so far:

The upper body has been modified so I'll update the image as soon as I can. Sorry about the poor photo quality, my camera is a peice of sh*t with a lens.

Not bad, the helmet especially without using pep.

Thanks! I'd rather use pep though, as it makes it alot more even and then there's also how Im going to paint it with all that tape.

Sorry for the double post, But I've decided to start over from scratch and use the current chest and helmet as prototypes. For the final version, I'll be using Pep and instead of using fiberglass, I'll be using casting *like the stuff used to repair broken bones*. Does anyone know where I can get a mirror-like visor? I need an orange and blue one because Im also making my cousin an ODST costume.

1) You mean plaster. Which is a no-no, since it's brittle, doesn't sand, doesn't paint especially well and is extremely heavy. Plaster's no good for wearable items, so go for Pepakura and fibreglass - it's lighter and you can get far more strength from it without having to make it ridiculously thick.

2) eBay, or Google some. The best brands to get are HJC visors - make sure you buy a very large one, otherwise it won't fit your helm.
