You could finish the wood surface instead of just painting it black. It would be awesome to see a shotgun with nice wooden furniture.

I think with all the wood filler on it to cover up my mistakes, it would look terrible unpainted lol! I'm also not a fan of wood parts on guns. Especially military weapons. Especially ones 500 years from now lol. I like all synthetic composites on modern weapons. (The irony being, wood is all I make my props out of XD)

What's the overall length going to be?

45"
I scaled it up a little bit because some of the parts were just too small at the original length of 38". Hope that's alright with you.

The pump turned out really well I think! I can't wait to see it attached to the gun.

Pump is finished! I'm really happy with how this turned out. I can't wait to start on the rest of the gun :D

At this rate, I think I can manage making an entire component for the shotgun (i.e. pump, tube, receiver, ect.) in a week or less each.
That's my goal anyway :)

More to come soon!

Well, It's been too long since I posted an update, so here's a teaser of what I'm working on right now.

OH MY GOD!
Another L05T V1K1N6 weapons build! Im so excited, I may vomit a little!
Where's that subscribe button!!!

Am soooo looking forward to this build
From one wood worker to another,
Cheers.

Hahaha Thanks!

This section (which I guess is the receiver, in addition to being the pump slide) is finished.

I decided to omit the false-ejection port on the right, the reasons being:
1. It was totally in the way of the slide because it sticks out in the direct path of pump. (good job, Bungie)
2. If you look closely in the game, the shells eject from the same port their loaded into anyway.
Obviously, removing one small and useless piece and losing a little bit of accuracy versus having a non-moving pump is the lesser of two evils.

So here's everything so far.

I'll start on the handgrip section tomorrow. Let me know what you think!

This thing is looking pretty sick already. I was amazed at the progress, and even more so, when I scrolled down on the first page seeing that was all done within a short amount of time. You sure know how to make it look easy! :D

Here's the grip and trigger assembly. (ironically, I haven't made either yet lol)

Startin' to look like a shotgun, ain't it?

These are some amazing results. Especially when you consider the fact that it's wood. Keep up the good work.

It's amazing how symmetrical and smooth everything is, it looks like there's a lot of work you put into it which we can't see but just looking at it and it pays off.

Looking Great!! You should totally do a small video of the pump moving when your farther along :)
