Deadalus if you want I have almost all of the Mass Effect Weapons with textures that if you want the models I can send them to you.

hey Nintendude, could you possibly send me a few of them as i am making ME armour and weapons as well? i would really appreciate it

Nice pep files! I'm building the helmet right now. Any chance of the N7 helmet being released soon?



Oh, and Nintendude, would you mind sending a copy of those weapons to me too?

Wow, these look awesome. I've never played ME or ME2 before, but the armour looks really amazing, can't wait for the ME2 helmets.
 
I'm making Blood Dragon Armor from Mass effect 2 and I'm planing to make armor from Dragon Age.

Blood dragon helmet is finished and ready for pep.

I'm really loving this thread!, just in case you want this smoother in Pepakura 3. Go to "setting" then "other settings" and change the threshold to 155 degrees.
 
hell yes was gonna say if someone was makign the blood dragon armour from ME 2 if you make it can i have a pep to attempt to make only thing is wont it be to many polygons to make it in pep ?

UPDATE:

Have major model issues with the N7 Helmet, almost done the armour tho.



the Helmet has a lot of internal faces that are useless, but are connected to the external faces.......

if i remove them it takes chunks of the helmet away and leaves open edges, any idea's guys?

you think it'd be possible to make a few of the face model textures transparent, then grab the outer portion of the helmet's structure then create model out of that file?

that seems like the most sensible way, instead of trying to rebuild the whole outer portion.

Tried that ;)

tried to hide the internal faces, but they intersect to the outer, so it takes them too.

also tried the other way around by just selecting the outer faces, but it still leaves a portion internally.



Edit.

From what I can tell it doesnt effect unfolding, but you end up with this internal mass that would need to be discarded.

This is the under shoulder armour, and the upper Pauldron for the ME2 N7 shoulders.

Do you have a screenshot of the model/problems? I'm having trouble imagining what it looks like but there's a couple of things that you might be able to do if it's anything like I think it is.

Hey Aaron,

good to see you back.

how about I just email the current OBJ to you? I have stripped away most of the rubbish but can't get the last bits removed.
