Motorcycle helmet

Does anyone here know how to make a themed helmet that could also be worn as a motorcycle helmet? I have no clue how to do anything involving armor creation, nor do I have the means.
Are we allowed to commission someone to make something?

I was trying to see if anyone could make one that looks like Pilot from Reach.

I don't think there is tut for that and that would be nearly impossible because of the roundness of the motorcycle helmet

I also ride.

As tempting as it is, you just can't wear a helmet like you see here as a real motorcycle helmet. It offers no protection, at all. In fact, if you were to actually wipe out on your bike with a helmet like we do here, you'd basically be wearing a shrapnel box around your head and it would very well kill you. The visors are not mounted the same either. Something could bounce up from the road and shatter your helmet, or it could fall apart at speeds past 60mph.

Think about it. The Halo Pilot helmet vs a real motorcycle helmet and what they ACTUALLY look like. You are getting into fashion vs function argument.

The best you can possibly do, is get a motorcyle helmet, and Airbrush on a picture of the halo helmet you want.

Thats it.

Sorry, but what you want is not possible unless you cast something from a factory for that purpose. These are props and costumes. Nothing else.

You could always just modify the outside of a helmet... get one that is the right shape, then build up the outside for the details. Unless you want to make the mold, build the base shell, add the foam, send in for testing, get safety rating...

Thanks guys, this helps out a lot. With the argument about fashion vs. functionality, I realize that it would be pretty ridiculous to die because the device meant to save your life was actually a P.O.S. that gouged your eyes out at 60. I've definitely decided against getting a helmet like that.
Now I need to learn how to do stuff like this on my own, because I REALLY wanna cosplay as my Halo: Reach Spartan III.
That, of course, comes after Sheik and a bubonic plague doctor.
