My Battletech Display

I'm sure there are folks around that have better b-tech collections but I was pretty excited to get my new case together after the announcement of the new Mechwarrior game.



Novels are top shelf, minis mid-shelf and Tech readouts and sourcebooks bottom shelf.

where did you get the cabinet and nice battle tech stuff how long have you been collecting

Some yahoo actually threw that cabinet away and I fixed it up. It's got real glass and everything!



Been collecting on and off for about 10 years now. Hehe most of the stuff I own is older than I am. I am clearing out some of the stuff I have doubles of though like some of my tech readouts.

The right door is open. It needs a new magnet to keep it closed.

I go to Baylor and live with a lot of Baylor folks at my apartment complex. A lot of rich kids there have obviously never heard of the Salvation Army or Goodwill because they just throw out nice stuff. I got a brand-new classic wingback lazyboy, nice fold-out couch, gamer computer chair, display case, and a box of computer parts this year just when I go to throw out my trash.

Why don't I live in a place like that? free stuff is nice. I'd consider my family upper middle class (though i'm not sure how long that'll last), and even we send all the too-small clothes and books and old furniture and everything to Goodwill...





On that note, that stuff looks awesomesauce. Insured?

Well they went to a good friend so I think it worked out well. I just wish I had the space to build an awesome Bushwhacker simpit like you man.

Great collection. Nice find on the cabinet. Looks like you painted some of those Mech also?



I collected back in the 80's. Had most of the Tech readouts, novels, A lot of Ral Parth's lead figures. Lost it all once I went into the Army. My brother gave it all away or lost it.

Sword & Dagger was the first novel I read. Wolf Dragoon's all the way. lol
