My first build: Mark VI Mjolnir armor (how original title!)

nice gloves your pep work is really clean... i'm kinda lucky that most of the models fit me fine with little to no modification/scaling required, but i do have a completed MkVI helmet that won't even come near fitting over my melon, so i do feel your pain about the thigh... keep at it though, it'll definitely be worth it in the long run

Thanks, man! The gloves are good, but I'm probably not going to use them for the final armor, as they are missing the armor plates from index fingers (the reason for it is that they're airsoft gloves, and it would be harder to shoot if they had the armor plates). And yeah, the thigh is definitely too big, I can fit my head, both hands and torso in there! <D

Thanks to you too, man! Apparently, I'm getting a lot compassion from you guys just beacuse my thigh was too big - is that some kind of 405th ritual? When your thigh is too big, you get a lot of compassion?

But enough about weird rituals, I've got an update too! Now that I've failed my matriculation exam, I can build my suit again! I finished today re-pepping my left forearm (yes, that's right, left, as when I thought I built the right forearm, it was left, and I had just mistyped the file name). So here you go some pictures!

There ya go. I realized that I have a lot of stuff to re-pep, at least my helmet (crappy), right bicep (too big), right handplate (too big AND really crappy) and of course, the right thigh and boot.

Hello, children!
Just finished building my codpiece, so here you go some pictures!

You can see Marcus Fenix sneaking there in background - I forgot him there when I took the pictures =P.
It took me four days to build the codpiece. Now I'll seriously take over week off of this, I just have too much in my hands right now, but I'll try to visit here as much as possible. So once again, tell me what you think of it and leave comments. See ya'll!

dont worry i sometimes put the tabs outside but i learned that they mess up the allignment so i stop doing that XD

cant help to notice that m4a1 iin the background it's airsoft rite. even the case looks sexy

Ha, you said it, man! And about those tabbed ones, they were one of my first builds, and now I see how crappy they are, so I'm going to redo them. Only right handplate and helmet remaining!

And, I finished pepping the right forearm just now, so here you go pictures!

Wassup, 405th?! I finished building the right shoulder piece, so I thought I'd let you guys see how it turned out.

And there's me, wearing the whole right arm. I also made the right hand plate, which I'm wearing there.

So yeah, that's it for now again. The next piece I'm going to build is the left shoulder, which I'm (hopefully) going to finish during next week. But yeah, leave a comment, tell me what you think and I'll see ya later.

Huh, so my glove doesn't fit like a glove? =P Thanks for commenting, man, I appreciate the feedback!

And, I'm proud to announce that I managed to build the left shoulder in one day! Maybe I should've read that Stephen King's book for school tomorrow, but... Meh.

Here's the shoulder, not many pics of it, as it basically the same thing as the other shoulder (you don't say, genius?)

And here's me wearing the whole left arm.

And now I can finally start re-pepping the right thigh. And you guys wouldn't know how relieved I am now that I'm done with the arms! I literally hate the forearm pieces, thanks to all the little detail! I'll be making another pair of them in the future, but thankfully not for this suit anymore - but more of that later. Aaaaannd here's an update! I've finished the right thigh and IT IS SIZED CORRECTLY THIS TIME! I had bit of problems with it, as at first, I tried to build it with the files from Pepakura pack... But it turned out, that even when they were scaled to 100% they a) wouldn't fit, and b) I wasn't able to print them out as full sized, so I ended up having 4 half-built thighs that were too small. But finally, I was able to overcome that obstacle by using the file I originally used, and it turned out pretty good. Here you go some pics:

Oh, and about the last picture, I just felt like goofing around, so don't ask.
But that's it for now, I'll start to work on the other thigh to get that off of my back too. When my next period in school starts, I can really get to pepping - I don't have school at all on fridays <P. See ya.

Oh man, it's been a long time since I was here last time! I actually have a good reason why I've been quiet (if you don't wan't to read this story, then here's the short version: I'M NOT DEAD). You see, after I finished the right thigh, I ran out out cardstock, and I didn't have money to buy it, as I bought a new xbox (my old one had been broken for ages), and to make things worse (well, worse from the perspective of armor building) I bought SIX games with the xbox. Aaand, I had an unboxed Skyrim... So for the last two weeks I've played Skyrim. But I did manage to bring myself to buy cardstock yesterday, and after that I built the left thigh finally. So here you go some pictures:

So yeah, not really anything else to show you of the thighs. Next thing I'll build are shins. But that could take a while, as now my printer is running out of ink... I hope I'm able to get some during the next week, but I'm not promising anything. I'm not complaining, the lack of ink gives me an excuse to play Skyrim =P. Yeah, I know it's been a while since I last posted ANYTHING, but I've been really busy (can't say I didn't warn you, I told I was out of ink). But don't think I had forgotten my armor and 405th, I'm just getting started. But anyways, I don't have balls to be quiet for four months and then come back with no pics, so here you go!

Yup, I made both of my shins, this time they're scaled correctly. I liked building them, as they were a lot easier than the helmet. Speaking of which...

Here is my new version of helmet! This should be a bit better than my first one.

And there they are together, took me about two weeks to complete.

Looking good man, I feel your pain on the rebuilding. Fortunately, I only had to rebuild my helmet once, and decided to use the too-small one as a test run. Keep up the good work!

What's up everybody.
So, just finished building my boots, so thought I'd show them for you guys too.

First, here are the boot pieces with my sneakers.

And here they're with my military boots.

What do you guys think, which they look better with, or which they work better with? I'm going to need a lot of help with mounting of them later. But anyways, if you've got some tips for them, they're appreciated.

What's up everyone.
No actual pictures this time, for two reasons: First and foremost, my computer broke, so I can't use it to load my pictures, I'm using one in my school now. Secondly, I did finish the codpiece, only to find it's too small, and I'll be using the first one I made, so that means I've completed building my suit! Yay! I guess the next step is resining. I'll start doing it next week, as I'll be reading for my matriculation exams (once again). I hope I'll get my computer running by that time so I can upload some pictures for you guys to see. I'll also be uploading a pic of the whole suit once my computer starts working. But I guess I don't have anything else to tell you guys now, so I'll go back to reading psychology.
