Just putting in my input, but i would highly recommend using fiberglass. If you don't your armor will never be as hard and sturdy as you want it to be. You can pick up a good amount of fiberglass mat for around $7 at your local home depot.

It's a mystery how you keep those things together so well. I could never get them closed up at the end of the day. They look fantastic (especially that chaingun, I thought that file was impossible to build).
I would say that you should finish the Carbine and Brute Shot, primarily because I haven't seen either completed before. If you're not looking for anything groundbreaking, the BR and Magnum would be a nice Spartan setup.
Interesting idea. Since you're making a Mk VI armor, wouldn't it make more sense to put it on your shoulder like a unit affiliation, though? Just my opinion.
